Year Round Programs

Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch, a nonprofit organization, provides invaluable services to youth through education, equine therapy, and business skills training. As a community cornerstone, it fosters personal growth and positive change, enhancing lives one heart at a time.

hORSEMANSHIP

  • $35.00 per lesson

Experience fun, build relationships with horses, and develop riding skills in our comprehensive lesson program at Graceful Oaks! Our 50-minute Basic Horsemanship lessons cover everything from groundwork to horse handling and riding, available all year round subject to weather conditions.  Ensure your spot by reserving at the start of each month, arriving at the Ranch 10-15 minutes before your lesson with closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a snack.

FIELD TRIPS

  • $25.00 per student

Plan your exhilarating three-hour trip, accommodating groups of up to 50, perfect for homeschool groups, summer camps, church congregations, and more! We are nestled in over 4 acres and have stunning Colorado mountain views with an array of activities. Try your hand at archery or games in our Activity Center, discover live horse painting and horseback riding, or indulge in a cozy s’mores session around the firepit. We even offer a unique educational experience with our goats, chickens, and micro-mini cows!

animal therapy Sessions

  • $75.00 per session

Our Faith Base Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP), animal therapeutic sessions, helps victims of sex trafficking, abuse, trauma, and other painful life experiences move beyond pain into a place of experiencing God’s truth and freedom. Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy is for ages 5 and older, and targets issues like personal power, finding and using your voice, healthy boundaries, trust, hope, and truly knowing that you are loved by God! Certified Equine Therapy Sessions are 50 minutes.

Fostering Kids fOR LIFE

The Fostering Kids for Life (FK4L) program at Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch offers transformative support for youth through animal therapy, leadership training, and internships. Aimed at holistic development, FK4L addresses the challenges of over 7,300 who are currently in foster care (fc), kinship care (kc) or facing other adversity within their household or community. It combines emotional, psychological, and practical skill-building to pave their path to success. Applications for this impactful program begin in January 2024.

Homeschooling at the Ranch

Round up your young’uns and hitch a ride to Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch for a knee-slapping, hands-on educational adventure!

With the sun on our backs, we’re saddling up every Wednesday from 9:30am to 12:00pm this spring and fall. We welcome cowboys and cowgirls from Kindergarten (5 years old) to 5th grade for a day on the ranch. For a non-refundable fee of $34 per child, your buckaroo will join a lively group of up to 18 ranchers.

Pack a water bottle, a snack, and be sure they’re rigged out in weather-appropriate attire, complete with sturdy closed-toe boots.

Please note that ranch activities will be canceled under weather conditions below 25 degrees, or in case of unsafe snow/ice or rain. In such instances, notifications will be sent via email or text, and a credit will be applied to your account for future use.

Saddle up for Summer Camp

Graceful Oaks is NOW offering summer camps at the Ranch!

Join us for a week of fun filled activities in an educational outdoor ranch environment. Activities each day will include- Horsemanship skills, ranch care, arts and crafts, archery, games, and other fun activities. Includes a Hangin’ at the Ranch Kids shirt.

Program Details:

  • Ages – 5 years old through 10 years old
  • Program Times: 9am to 3pm
  • Cost: $350 per child, per week
  • Limited registration to 22 participants
  • Welcome letter will be emailed to you after registration with additional information!
