The Junior Leadership Advisory Team (previously known as the term Interns), offers students a unique opportunity to strengthen their leadership, business, and organizational skills through hands-on involvement in our ranch programming. With guidance from their mentors, Team members will supervise junior high and high school students as they design and manage a business initiative that fosters community service, social learning, and career planning, while also enhancing Ranch operations.
The Junior Leadership Advisory Team is designed for high school students eager to explore educational and career opportunities in fields such as veterinary medicine and science, communication specialist, event management, human resources and employee management, education (teaching), marketing specialist, equine instruction, and various trades.

Qualifications:
- High School Student (9th – 12th grade)
- Interest in leadership, business, and community service.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
- Willingness to learn about business practices and engage with community members.

Commitment:
- Participation in the Jr. Leadership Advisory Spring Program: 3/31/25 – 4/30/25, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 pm to 7:30 pm.
- Ranch Care Requirement: 10 hours completed during the course of the Jr. Leadership Advisory Spring Program through 5/18/25.
- Summer Programming Prep includes 4 hours, completed at their own pace and schedule availability during May (5/1/25 – 5/16/25) before the start of EYLP.
- Participation in at least one summer EYLP Session. You may participate in both sessions if you would like to. Session 1: May/June or Session 2: July/August
- Participate in at least one week of Hangin’ at the Ranch camp. Week 1: 6/16/25 – 6/20/25 or Week 2: 7/21/25 – 7/25/25.
