EMPOWERING YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM – EYLP
The Empowering Youth Leadership Program teaches practical skills to 6th-12th graders that serve as building blocks for future leadership roles. This program is a 6-week session from March 1st through April 7th. Students will be a part of a team of their peers who provide care for our animals, learn leadership skills, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and serve our community during GOYR Events.
For six weeks, students will meet twice a week for a total of three hours of training and ranch service.
Topics Include:
Local Community Business leaders will be presenting on some of the topics.

- Communication/Public Speaking
- Event Planning
- GOYR Easter Egg Hunt
- Conflict Resolution
- Budgeting/Money Management
- Professionalism
Ranch Training includes:
- Ranch Care
- Basic Horsemanship
- Group Ranch Project
- Emergency Protocols
Students who complete a minimum of six Ranch Care Hours during the session, serve at one community event, and attend four Empowering Youth Leadership Training sessions will receive a Letter of Recommendation and Certificate of Completion.
